I'm just putting a 4" lift on my '91. (stock rear springs with shackle flip).
Will my rear drive shaft be long enough or will my slip yoke drop out of my 241 on full droop?
Anyone with 4" lift running stock d/shaft with no probs?
Thanks.

I have a 4" lift with stock shafts, but I do have the T-case dropped 1"
That's a thought! Did you have any distributor clearance probs or driveline vibration after dropping the t/case?

i used to have 4", no problems with it, and no t-case drop or anything.

That question has a different answer for almost every truck.
No the slip yoke won't fall out.
Vibrations.... try it and see. Some have em, some don't.
Shaft length....should be fine. If you need a longer one, let me know. I had one made and only used it for 3 weeks. Then I went 1 ton, so it is just sitting.

OK thanks guys, that was what I was hoping to hear!

you don't happen to have a lengthened front drive shaft for an 83 k5 w/ 4" lift np208/d44 front do you? ;)
end hijack.

Pesky highjackers! Where's Bruce Willis when you need him!!:D :D

just for your info in my 86 k10 shortbed w/ 6 inches in it the slip yolk was fine until you slammed on the brakes on pavement then it would fall out. but that was 6 inches w/ dropped t case

haha i didnt lengthen my front with 8" lift, splines showed some but it worked. oly problem was y-pipe clearance. wdidnt have any problem with 4"

my 90k5 had a bad vibration at 40-55 mph after installing the 4 " lift.i shimed the rear avle 2 degrees and dropped the trans case half an inch, still had slight vibration.I called driveshaft solutions-they build double carden frt u-joint driveshaft-no problems at all after that
