i have an 84 k5 w/ 465/208 shackle flip and zero rate. has anyone tried using driveshaft from shortbed or longbed pickup. does it work well? mine still works but slip hangs out a little and it leaks fluid. thanks for the help. also if you have a driveshaft to sell let me know.

I have a short box pickup driveshaft in mine. I think I had to take out ~7" but as mentioned above it's cheaper to shorten a shaft. If you use the conversion jont in the rear find a driveshaft from a 4spd truck then you wont need the conversion joint cause 4spd trucks got a 1350 joint on the axle end. BTW your T-case leaks because of the seal in the slip yoke. Mine leaks too and the shaft is the correct length. new seal helps for awhile, but it's just the nature od the slip yoke. That was you can tell everywhere you have parked:D :haha:
