Driveshaft Question!

Well your going to have to forget a lot of it , trucks and the owners thereof are a different breed altogether . You'll soon learn that what may live behind a 400hp smallblock for a long time in a street/strip car will grenade itself with anything larger than a 235-75/15 in a truck , and everyone will let you know about it too :wink1:

Driveshaft loops are a great idea, I'm surprised so few people runs them. They are tougher to fit on a 4WD but they can save your springs, frame, oil pan :eek1:, etc.

I've thought about building some a few times now but haven't got around to it :doah:

my parking brake cable works pretty well as a drive shaft loop:doah:. Blew that top u joint at least 3 times before I realized the yoke was bent

I have thought about putting one on my back drive shaft closest to the t-case on the rear. I could care less if my back u-joint let go but if the front u joint gives it will give a new meaning the the word flying. haha:haha:
