driveshaft question

well i thought i only had a halfton dshaft in my new truck but upon taking closer look the 205 is sye'd and it has a slip yoke on the dshaft but on the tc side. is that normal? the few have seen have the slip yoke on the axle side.

Every Chevy I have been under the slip is on the top near the tc
