Driveshaft question

I have recently bought a 84 k5 with a previously installed 4 in lift. It has blocks in the rear and lift springs in front. My problem is that the driveshaft doesn't engage the transfer case fully. Can I do something to fix this or was the lift put on wrong or something. Any help would be great. Thanks

When you raise it up, the distance from the rear end to the transfer case get longer.. Sometimes you can get away with it, but usually you have to get a longer driveshaft.

I assume you mean that the slip yoke does not go into the transfer case far enough to engage the shaft splines.

I had to lengthen my rear drive shaft 2 inches.

I wish there was a cheapo spacer I could put in temporarily, till the funds for a CV came in.
