Looking to purchase a new driveshaft. I have looked around online but want to see if there is any place you guys recommend.

Current driveshaft has damage, Looks like the u joint came apart and parts started to grind. Dont know how it didnt come apart last time i drove it.

Getting ready to swap a 14 bolt semi float.

Do you have or need anything special? (extreme angle parts, etc)

Would do the 14b swap then measure for new shaft. If no one local to make one then Tom Woods. They have sponsored Blazer Bash and make good stuff.

I run Tom Woods. They are quick, had mine in under a week . Finish any drivetrain or suspension mods first, it's too much money to do driveshafts twice.

I’m assuming I will be able to go 1350 u joint with the new driveshaft over a conversion u joint?

14b sf has a 1350 yoke.

Tom woods and Adams driveshafts are probably the most common online retailers for them.

I've not yet had the pleasure of working with the Tom Woods folks yet, but they come very highly regarded. Fortunately, they're local to me:rotfl:

I didn't know they're in Utah.
I have been buying from them since 2002

Is that all from u joint play?
I found out why it clunked going into reverse.

I never thought to check. Only drove it around a little.

Last time I drove it I went on the freeway. On my way back home I felt a vibration. Then I looked. Scary to think

You're lucky it didn't snap off.
I hope you're not driving it anymore till you fix it.
You were lucky so far don't push your luck

It’s been parked. Next move is backing into driveway to put new rear end in. The transfer case looks bad. I’m thinking about tackling that after the rear end goes in and last piece will be drive shaft.

I went from 1 thing to the next. . It’s a never ending project.

Any vehicle that gets used is a constant project.
20 years and counting for me
