Alright I went out and took some measurements with my truck sitting on all fours and came up with these. My shaft, haha I said shaft, is 5 3/8 inches short when fully extended and 9 inches short when fully compressed. So 3 5/8 inches is the length of the slip she can travel. So how much on stock suspension with little off roading should be a decent amount exposed of the slip yoke while sitting on all fours. I have my shaft measured in at 23 inches from the yoke to the weld where I cut it off after getting the measurements of how short it is. The section I have of driveshaft with the correct yoke on one side is 33 1/2 inches long to the already cut end. I need to know how much I should cut off this one. So keep in mind I have the measurements of how short I am compressed and extended and the length of the shafts without the slip yoke on them and I was drinking and cant make heads or tails of it. Anyone? Note this is a 78 K5 Blazer with no lift and wont be doing any offroading until I get my one tons in and new shafts.
