doing some driveshaft maint. wanted to know what is a good u-joint for my D/D 4inch lift brand and part # would be great!
Thanks

My brother-in-law works for carquest and said their rep told him that the CQ premiun joints were made by spicer and hold a lifetime warranty. I have only had to warranty one joint and i'm pretty sure it was my fault it failed.

It pays to befriend someone at a driveline shop. I run non-greasable Spicers, and get them for cheaper than the half-assed parts stores sell the China crap (that includes the crap that NAPA sells).

I have decided to go with the spicer joints, but I am having finding the part # for my front driveshaft (stock) only running a 4 inch lift stock diff.

It's just a 1310 series ujoint. Anywhere that sells Spicer ujoints will probably have the part number memorized. I dunno about the t-case side, I think those were S44s(?) or something depending on what year your truck is.

Looks like my spare is 5-1310x. Like I said, any good driveline shop will probably be able to rattle off the part number if they see the ujoint from 10 feet away.
