Drivetrain swap ?

I found a '90 burb a guy is parting out looks like I'm taking both axles 14 bolts and a 6" lift. What are some issue I might encounter in the swap. The leaf springs are the same length but I didn't have a chance to measure the width of the spring perches. And what about drive shafts will mine be alright?

Front axle will be a 10 bolt on the '90 burb. Front leaves are the same length for all '73 and up K5's, rear leaves are either 52" or 56" for K5's.


As was asked before, what vehicle are you swapping this stuff into?

It will go on my '87 k-10 blazer. Are 10 bolts the same on the front except the 2 extra lugs?

Essentially Yes, may have different size brakes.

How about the drive shafts and spring perches. The guy has not been home yet so I haven't got to measure the vitals yet.

Perches should be the same, shafts all depend on what tcase was in the old and new. Shaft lengths will most likely be different, not sure, i dont know much about burbs.
