Interesting to see a driveway paint job and it looks to have turned out great. I've thought about going the same route but I would have concerns about over spray getting onto the cars in the drive way next door. Also bugs landing on the paint. It has taken so much work welding in patch panels to fix the rust... I'm going to have my K5 painted by pros in a booth.

done a bunch outside... Mutt for the most part, the f2fiddy, chevelles, power wagon, etc.. K5, I did in the shop...

I have helped with several paint jobs outside in the past. Bugs are the worst. Overspray wasn't a concern since we had lots of space around us.
One was the entire bed on a hydraulic heavy wrecker. That black Imron attracted plenty of bugs.
We always wet down the area to keep dust down as best as possible, but I often do that even inside a regular shop, too.

Overspray is not that big of a concern using real catalyzed paint in the right temperature range. Just don't have it right next to the house or another car. Now if you want to spray Rustoleum or tractor paint, keep everything else well away.

shot this black chevelle right there back in the day.. black Imron...

I painted a cab from an '82 KW C500 winch truck inside a guys shop with Imron. Overspray everywhere. He painted everything with Imron.
