drool......

The styling looks like crap next to a Stang or Challenger.

Agreed, I think they should have been closer to the real thing, Ford did a great job with the Mustang, and I HATE Ford Mustangs, but I will give them props for the effort.

Chevy wont sell as many as they think they will. The only thing that might make them sell well is whats under the hood, BUT with today's gas prices its a bad time for hot rods.

Absolutely, I like the look of the Camaro, but put it next to the new Challenger and there is no competition. The styling on the Challenger is just so much a classic hot rod that it just brings the 70's back. And the SRT version of the Challenger is definitely no slouch.

Yeah, the new Challenger is pretty sweet. Too bad it has to work with a chrysler drivetrain......And yes, gas prices will probably affect the sales of the topend Camaros. Just like when the Mustangs came out, all you're gonna see running around are base V6 models. Chevy should drop in a "tuned for fuel mileage" version of their new 4.5l Duramax coming out. The version going in the 2010 1/2ton pickups is rated at 310hp and 520lb/ft and designed to fit anywhere a smallblock V8 will:bow:

It's funny, I was just looking at that article before I signed in here. I like it, but like the Challenger, it's going to be out of my price range. (I wouldn't take a Mustang if you gave me one - I've owned Fords before - never again)

I don't know about only seeing base models, but that would seem likely just because the SRT's are a limited edition of 4800 total units. I don't think you will see a lot of them until they become a regular production option.

It looks like they tried to recapture the look of the '67-'69, but failed.
I'll stick with my third gens, no matter what stereotype goes along with them.

That convertible is beautiful! I'm sue Chevy will have fuel mileage on its side, just like any other matchup you like to compare for Chevy, Dodge, and Ford. I wouldn't wish too hard for a diesel, since d-fuel prices around here have already gone over $5/gal.
