Drop Pitman Arm

I was wondering which companies made a drop pitman arm for my 89 K5. I think I remember seeing skyjacker or superlift a while back but I am not sure. I need it for a 4in lift. Thanks.

you need a raised steering arm....

agreed raised steering arm will fix it, and its alot cheaper than drop pitman arm

A raised steering arm will only cause horrible bump steer. You are correct in trying to find a dropped pitman arm. I don't know who makes them, but you can call www.tyres1.com or www.natltire.com and they should be able to help. Steven at www.offroaddesign.com may have them also.

It says a 2in drop works for a 2" and 4" lift. Is that the right amount of drop for my 4" lift?

Yep, that's what I would run for a 4" lift. You want your draglink to follow the arc of your spring, not be level (unless you have flat springs).

Its all good. That is the reason I asked about the pitman arm, its all still new to me.
