drw, srw

DRW = Dual rear wheel

SRW = single rear wheel

Term for whether a 1-ton is a dually or not. Also use in axle I.D. to tell width. DRW axles are much wider than SRW axles.

My rig is on DRW axles to clean the H-1 beadlocks. on a d60 front it is a hub & rotor swap. Rear axles the tube length & hub is different.

Hi-jack I see on your location you are moving to MO. When you going?

Kansas City or in a small getto town on the out scerts called Grandview.

You close.

So with your DRW axle I asume you are running a single tire so did you have to change anything on that axle?

NO I am not close. You are much closer to me right now.

I am running a 60 front, that was originally a SRW axle. I converted it to DRW using stock chevy parts. DRW hubs & rotors.

I am running a D70HD rear. It is a DRW axle from a mid 80's fleetside dually. I changed it from drw hubs to srw hubs & that widened it enough to make it the same WMS-wms as the front. H-1's have 7.25" of backspacing, & I am running 42" tires.

Here is alink to a thread I started when I originally did the H_1 rim swap. Pics are re-loaded towards the bottom of the thread. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109482
