Dual exhaust and headers

oh, sorry. i bought 30' of aluminized 2 1/2" exhaust pipe from carquest, hedman headers from jegs, the mufflers from some place in the middle of bumble-f**k IL (the only place that had them in stock, including jegs & summit) and the tips i got from some muffler shop (in the middle of no where) that was going to charge me $600 for the same thing! I said forget it and did it myself (1st time ever tried) for less than $350. that was a year ago and i've got to fix a few leaks (knowing me i'll replace all the damned pipe and do it better). overall, i'm glad i learned how to do that and weld, er... kind of. for less than $350 bucks, i can afford to do the pipe again and do it the way I want (I can say that I DID IT!) oh yeah, i had access to an exhaust bender and welder so that made it easier!

How did you bend the pipes yourself? I was going to do the same thing you did but I dont have a bender. Let me know thanks

my dad works at a chevy and RV dealer and they do custom exhaust on RV's. I just went in after work and did it
(2 days). My uncle just bought a really nice bender too. I guess that you could make friends with the guy at CAR-X or buy you own $4000 bender... just kidding. i guess that it just worked out for me.
