recently purchased a set of Dynomax headers and looking to run a dual exhaust on my 79 Jimmy. I am considering buying a Dynomax dual kit that exits out of the sides. Has anyone used this brand or what would you recommend? This will be my first time fooling with an exhaust system and is the anything I will need to be aware of? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Any links or write ups would be appreciated as well......

those are good headers good flow i like to go w/ an ol gibson exaust i dont know though thats just what i run
Thats exactly what I did. Didnt use the pipes from the mufflers back though. Kept crushing them.
HOw are you going to be for emissions? I'm assuming your '79 could still have had them, but I know CA is bad, and I'd want to check that out first.
Obviously being in the military, I *think* you can register the vehicle in your home state and CA can't touch you, but if you have CA registration, and have to go through emissions, I'd just make sure you aren't going to fail first....

I like Dynomax's mufflers too. Lifetime warranty is alot nicer than some manufacturers' one year warranties.
