Dual gas tank

ok so my 1979 shortbed k10 came with only 16 gallon gas tank and with a holley double pumper it goes down rather fast i was wondering if someone could post up some pics of there dual gas tank set up and the parts required to be able to switch from tank to tank. thanks

brackets to frame the same per side.

tank the same per side.

fuel filler and hoses diffrent per side.

sending unit diffrent per side.

and if 1 fuel line only and no return get a cheep aftermarket switcher valve from like napa that takes 12v to switch it. use a double poll switch double throw also. 1 side for valve. then other for gas gauge .

easy to do.

isnt there some sort of valve the gas tank lines run into so you can switch tanks?

ya thats what i told you.

it lets you draw gas from 1 tank. then when 12v sent to it switches to the other tank.

thay have single line valves cheep universal. or if you can find good used ones you can get them for 2 line or 3 line or tbi fuel injection 3 line.

I had a '77 C30 that had dual tanks. might be worth going to a junk yard and taking it out as an assembly. Dont forget the switch in the cab
