I just did the 3/4 ton swap. Is there a kit to make the 14 ff dual shock compatible. My 12 bolt had dual shocks that I would like to keep, Skyjacker 8000 Nitros.

Would it be easier to just weld a new shock mount on the other side or fab something up like the 12 bolt had.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Why do you want dual shocks on the rear? Trying to make an 80's 4Wheeler cover?

One good shock per corner will perform best.

believe me, this thing will never make a magazine cover unless it is Popular Rust Buckets. I actually like the ride with dual shocks, my other rig is an 03' F350 7.3l leveled with 37's. Used to the stiff ride.

get a shock inboarding kit from DIY4X4.....stock chevy shock mounts leave a lot to be desired anyway...

Yeah if he wants it stiff, and just one shock, he needs to move it to outside of the spings and straight up and down.
But the cheapest and easiest way to get the result is to buy Rancho 9000 shocks and crank them up to highest, and then dial them one notch at a time till it's the best performance.:thumb:
But I know he said he wants to keep the shocks he has.:dunno:

Does O.D. sell the shock mounts Chris? I have looked through the site and could not locate any. Also had a question on the A.R.P. stud kit you sell. What is the torque for those things? Want to replace my old knuckle studs while doing the axle swap.
