Dual shock towers ?

I am in the process of putting a bnew frame on my blazer and the frame i got came with dual shocks on it. I was wondering if i used the one on top if i could put a longer shock on it or if this would not work.

Yes, you can use just the longer mount. Should check your max compression and make sure you dont go too long so you bottom it out.

I would but my dad doesnt wont me to do it cause im going to be in the hole like crazy for a while and i cant buy much other stuff. I would but i was wondering if this idead would work.

When you run ford shock towers in the front, is there something you can get for the back too?

Ford towers are cheap. like less than 15.00 ea.

Not really.
You cant really move the existing towers back anymore so the other option is to move them inboard. Missouri Offroad have a Shock Relocation Kit and there was a thread running a couple weeks ago talking about Cheap & Easy ways to relocate Rear Shocks Inboard /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif
