So here's another hair brained idea I thought about for my DD/limited trail rig. Several years ago I saw a website that had a lot of nice American Muscle cars with what seemed like semi-custom duel snorkle cold air cleaners/intakes that acted sorta like ram-air as well. Couldn't find the site or pic again but below is what could be used to start. They then modified the snorkles to accept ducting that went out throught what would be our blazer radiator core support and opened up on the front side sort of like a trumpet end. Thus allowing cool air to be sucked/driven/forced into the carb. I know this would not be much good for some of the hardcore mud rigs or those that would encounter lots of water but think it might be great for DD's and light trail use. Any one know what I'm talking about or have links. When its done right it looks very bad ass. Heres the pics.
