EDIT - UPDATE - as of 7/21/09 - Now have the DRW D60 and D70HD, and will be picking up a set of cheap, used, and questionably road worthy 38in TSLs. So will be in the market for some quality lightly used 37-40in tires for 16.5in H1 beadlocks. Also looking for a relatively complete 4in lift, or 6.2/6.5 turbo setup with all the major parts.

So im trying to mount my H1 beadlocks on my 1986 M1009, which means i need DRW 3/4 or 1 ton axles (73" WMS, D60 or D44 front / 14bff or D70 rear), and the correct size tires, 37in MT OZ's preferred but open to other sizes. Money is a factor, so looking for possible trades, and like everyone else, the best deal possible. im willing to drive a few hours to get what i want. Im located for all practical purposes, in Washington D.C.

Items I have to trade as either a direct swap, or swap plus cash (i realize my stuff isnt worth all that much).

1. Rare - 9 bolt rear end from a 1986 IROC-Z. disk brake setup with posi and 3.27 gears. rough shape, definatly needs rotors and pads, probably rebuild on calipers too.

2. complete 305 TBI longblock minus the wiring harness, out of my 1989 RS camaro. ran great when pulled, has been sitting for a few years. It is a jasper rebuilt unit with about 20-30k on it, dont remember exactly.

3. SOLD - Four goodyear eagle tires and RS camaro rims from the 1989 RS camaro. nearly brand new, at least 90% tread. includes center caps.

4. SOLD - Five Wheels and Tires from a Jeep wrangler. stock size. four michellins and one goodyear. goodyear is 100% tread, michellins are probably 80%. center caps for the rims are included and in great shape.

5. KEEPING - Vortec heads 062 castings, from a 1999 Tahoe.

6. EDIT - 350 small block.... block. pretty bare, and in need of hot tanking. 2 bolt mains, mains have left the building. as stated, just the block. have located all the missing parts, main caps and bolts, everything from the short block except the crankshaft.

7. And this one is the one that youd need to give me cash and parts for. complete 1989 IROC-Z, TPI 350, Race prepped and fully built 700R4 tranny, edelbrock TES headers, flowmaster american thunder exhaust system, four wheel disk brakes, 9 bolt rear with 2.77 gears. T-tops, power door locks and windows, and one of only 4500 made that year with the bose stereo system, which i have except for the head unit. Also have several interiors to choose from, gray, red, or black. brand new in the box black carpet. She runs like a top, passed saftey inspection, but failed emissions. My guess is either the EGR system or the cat. there is a small exhaust leak on the header due to my inability to torque down the furthest back bolt on the passenger side. have spare hood and rear glass. She needs some TLC, currently gutted interior, and in desperate need of paint. I removed the rear spoiler after installing a new style rear hatch with the center high mount brake light. shes reliable, starts, and drives just fine, but shes not a daily driver yet. needs a little more work before that happens, but a fantastic starting point. EDIT - forgot, she also has brand new Accell 26lbs injectors (slightly larger than stock) and a brand new ECM.

I got the D70 dually rear already, should be picking up the D60 front hopefully this week. It's a single rear wheel, but I have a HP60 that was a dually. I can swap the knuckles out so you would have a set of dually axles. They both have 4.10s, both are pretty clean. (E-brake even works on the 70!!) I don't really need anything in trades, I got laid off so could use the money.

I could meet you halfway between DC and Binghamton NY, Harrisburg is roughly halfway.

I have a D70HD dually rearend. I can crate & ship, or could meet in Nashville mid-July.

id love to buy them outright, both to help out a fellow forum member, and for my own ease. I gotta wait till the comission check comes in at the end of the month. right now i got about 300 in the bank, living paycheck to paycheck, so a 1200 pair of axles just aint in it for me. Its been a good month sales wise though, so well see. I do of course have other expenses that i have to focus on as well. which is why i thought id give the trading a shot.

I'm all for trading, but what you have right now I don't need. Bout the only thing that I can think of is a set of shocks for 6" lift and some 35" tires for 16" rims. I only have the one truck yet, so until I get the other one won't be till the first of the month or so.....

ive got completely rebuilt drw60 (originally srw) and d70hd with disc conversion, all new brakes and seals and everything. if i end up parting the truck out or swapping axles ill let you know, we are just down the road from each other.

awesome, less travel is always good.

i see harrisonburg is where you go to school, JMU? my brother and sister graduated from there. ill take a shot in the dark that you wheel in GWNF pretty regular then.

yea i go to jmu, its a ton of fun. unfortunately the truck is back at home in fairfax, otherwise itd be getting a ton of use at gwnf.

i was trying to sell my truck, but with the market, nobody seems to want to buy a big gas hog truck, so ill probably end up keeping it and wheel it, so if you wana go wheelin just shoot me a pm
