duct tape washers and chewing gum

A girl at my school made a dress and a tux for her and her date to go to our prom in. She won some duct tape contest.

I use duct tape to hold a couple little access doors shut on the aircraft when we go on a gun-run. Muzzle blast from the .50cal machine guns pops the doors open, so we tape 'em shut.

Temp-fixed a leaking oil cooler hose on the helicopter once; it got us home and only leaked about 2 gallons (18gal. capacity in the system) in 30 minutes of flight.

Just like Pugsley, used it as "teflon tape" on an oil hose fitting to stop a leak and get us home.

We're also authorized to use duct tape as a temporary repair for bullet holes in the aircraft skin when in a combat situation...

I had a Ranchero I was selling once. It was a 79 so it had a couple small items that did not work, one of them was the dash lights. Well the guy wanted it but needed the lights fixed first. So im at work in a electronics prototype place and I start looking around for lights to fit in my dash that were 12Volt.
The only thing I could find were these little lites called grain of wheat. well these lights were as small as a grain of wheat but were bright as hell. Well the dash had lights that were about 1/2" holes for the light socket. So as my mind thinks of a way to mount these I start thinking about hotglue but the bulbs would get hot and fall out. What can I use......I know I'll get some gum and wedge the bulbs through it in to the dash.
It work great and the whole truck smelled of juicy fruit. thats my use of gum. but I think the prize goes to a friend that duct taped a radiator to his grill cuz it wouldnt fit right.

If you cant go over it...GO THROUGH IT !!! <a target="_blank" href=http://www.CaliforniaK5Krawlers.com>www.CaliforniaK5Krawlers.com</a>
