One of the guys in our mill got his thumb caught in a shaper. Took half an hour to find it, it flew 50' into a corner.
Kind of freaky.

And in the wrong place too...does that thumb come with a "Complete Vehicle" as well?
My buddy lost half of his left index finger a few months ago. He drives a transfer dump truck and was sliding the rear bucket into the front bucket to dump. As the bucket came to a stop he dropped the safety pin and as he bent over to pick it up placed his hand near the rail. Well the bucket moved a bit and proceeded to crush and slice his finger off in between the first and second knuckle. They had to grind more of his knuckle off so that there would be enough skin to fold over and stitch it up.
I told him too bad he didn't have Alfac...he could've made a few grand.
We now call him 3 thumbs.
