Dumb choke question?

What RPM should I set my choke circuit for? On my 1406 Edel. carb, it is a simple screw adjustment. Does 1500 fully closed (fully choked) sound about right?

Anything between 1500 and 2000 should be fine. Mine seems to top out at about 1900 or so from dead cold. I also have the Edelbrock 1406...
