dumb dana60 ?? **** new dumb ???

it is to late to ask this and i am an idiot for not thinking to ask this before i bought it but will a front dana60 out of a 1ton fit in my 81 1500 suburban ??????? thanks for the info now i need to know i have a scrap on the tube between the pumkin and driverside knuckle its about 3" long and an 1/8" deep will this compramise the tube or what should i weld over it or something?? thanks im just pumped to finaly have d60 so i want it to be as good as possible

as long as u take out the 10 bolt first it will fit...on a serious note, i dont mean to make u sound stupid but,make sure u have 8 lug rims to put on it.
