OK, I may get laughed right out of the garage for this butttttttt............
How the #&!! do U take the fender off of an '84?!?
I am usto having bolts all down the top seem (under the hood), 2 in the door jamb, and some behind the head light, ect. Not so on this truck:doah:. I would just swear that the fender on my 'Burb is spot-welded on:confused:

Under the battery ... inner fender, maybe, been a while since I did mine.

Oh, wait, your battery is different than mine (I am thinking about 73-80) ... but still, look ALL up and down the inside of the front.

And there may be one up the top corner under the cowling.

Did you remove the inner fender?

If not then you have to remove the 3 or 4 bolts on the radiator support for the inner and 2 on the rear that bolt the inner to the firewall. If you do not want to remove the inner you can undo the bolts around the perimeter of the fender opening. There is also 1 bolt at the lower rear corner of the fender by the rocker dont forget that one. On my 87 K5 the battery is bolted to the inner also by 1 and to the fender by 2 or 3.
