I know this is a dumb question. I have seen in several posts people refering to doubled t-cases. Why is this done? What is the advantage? How does this work? How do you control them?

Thanks for the info y'all.

I dont know much about doubled t-cases. but they are usually used for lower gearing for rock crawling

1. to lower the loow range gear ratio, but still have a normal low range. w/ 2 cases u get 2:1 or 4:1 gearing
2. lower gears multipy torque, makes it easier to crawl over rocks
3. u take the frt range box from a 203 case & adapter & a 205 case
4.u can make your own shifters or buy the nifty kit from o.r.d.

go over to offroaddesign.com u can learn a lot about doublers there

Hit the vendor forum, there is a new, less expensive, better doubler out now that I'll be running before summer time.
