will a serpentine setup from a 92 4.3 fit an older 350. i think it does but not sure. also how is it routed with out ac? does it have a idler puller where the pump sits?

Cant answer all of it but the 4.3 is a 350 minus the middle 2 cylinders, so they might. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Just like the setup on the late model 350, just make sure you get a reverse flow water pump and fan blade setup (ones from an 87 on up)

Not sure if it is the exact same set up between 4.3 and 350 V8... but comparing a serp. setup from a friends '87 350 and my '79 350 there are a couple extra accessory holes in the newer heads that were not in the older heads. The holes in my '79 were still there on the '87 plus a couple extra's. I think the whole purpose of the 4.3 was to use the same parts and accessories to save production costs so you should be able to use that setup on your 350.

Serpentine setups on the 92 you are getting, is a reverse flow water pump, as i also mentioned, the fan will also spin in the reverse direction from the older engines, i have a serpentine on my '89 and i also have a '94 Chevy truck with the 4.3 in it with the same setup.

Unless you just want to go with the serpentine kit you can get from like jegs or Summit, they just use new pulleys and all factory components, everything will still spin in the same direction.
