you mean without removing the outer?
just remove them both, it would problably be easier than trying to fuss with not touching the outer. persoanlly i would replace both while i was in there. why not?

your talking about the front axle im guesing?
you have to remeove the wheel seal to get the old one out, and put the new inner bearing in the wheel hub before relacing the wheel seal...

You remove the wheel bearing seal then drop it in. What axle?
