well i looked at a 85' chevy K20 a 350.nice body decent price.but my question is I a need a dd,but need something that has decent fuel economy.is it posible to build one a have it get better than 15 mpg?:doah:

thanks

good luck getting 15 mpg. i have the same problem, but by the end of this summer ill finally have enough money to buy a beater civic. thats your best bet. they are all over ebay. and try craigslist. other than that. diesel would be your only way to go.

ahh. but you see if you look around hard enough you can find them cheap. im buying the civic for $1,200, but i have seen plenty others for cheaper. like geo metros. 45mpg, lots of cheap aftermarket parts. and most of them you find are less than $2,000. if you search you will find. believe me they are out there. and don't look for pretty. look for reliable. if it has a bad exterior but low miles or a clean vehicle history report. buy it. spend the rest of your money on the k5.

and if you find a beater that has a bad transmission or bad motor, chances are that they are cheap to fix. most rebuilt motors from the factory for imports are less than $1,000.

walk down to the chevy house, tell them u want a new truck, get the GMAC and have 275 month payments and get over 20 miles per gallon, or go with a car. so its lower insurance.

that would work. sorry. didnt mean a just are car. there are plenty of s-10s. mazda b2000, and toyotas out there. but they are a little bit more.
