Domost winchs feed the wire rope in to the top or the bottom of the drum? I am mounting one on the trailer and i realized i didn't know wich way to wind it up. i bought it used with no wire rope on it. will it hurt the winch to pull one or the other? it is a worm gear winch so i think it would load one end bearing or the other depending on the load side of the drum. any opinions out there?
