Durable seat upholstery?

i will be recovering the 84 model high back captains chairs for installation in the 72 suburban. I plan to use the crap out of this truck so I want something in the front seats that will last. Canvas? Neoprene?then who makes a replacement that won't cost an arm and a leg. I have seen the precision fit seat covers and just looking for some feed back.

On my PRP's I got heavy Cordura on the sides - very wear resistant. Which is why they make motorcycle gear out of it.
