Duramax ??

I'll do more in the am but. Lb7 high miles not that awesome. Tranny about 5,000 since it sounds like its had some power added to it.

LBZ are usually the most popular. They are in the 06-07 old bodied trucks. They resolved a lot of the injector issues but hadn't added all the emissions stuff. They also have the 6 speed allison vs. the 5 speed.

I have an '11 LML. It is not tuner-friendly and has all the exhaust emissions stuff. I love it anyway. Tons of power.

Yup. LBZ seems to be most popular.

We had an LB7 and ran it to 215,000 miles with all injectors replaced once and added a Kennedy diesel ECM. Great mileage, but injectors will need replaced every 100,000 miles or so and they are hard to access. We traded up to a 2007.5 with the LMM. We could only fetch about $7,000 for our LB7 and it had a good trans.

If you can find a 2007 - 2010 then you have the 6 speed and no particulate filter or can find a DPF delete kit for the 2007.5 to 2010; then you have more power, good mileage and 6 speed trans.
