Durapro emergency tool A+

My brother gave me this tool.

http://www.amazon.com/DuraPRO-Emergency-Accu-Brite-Digital-Gauge/dp/B005Y0MF2W

He works at costco and they have it there at around $8 and i have to say its a pretty nice tool for what its worth, it has a glass puncher, seat belt knife, tire pressure gauge, one red emergency light and a led light.

Id say a good tool for the trucks.

Curious to see what people say. I've been given "safety tool" things with the glass break, and seat belt cutter before . I just laugh. If i'm so bound up that i have to cut my seatbelt....i'm probably f'd.

Never tired to break a window, but would guess the butt end of the knife i carry would make quick work of it.

What does the brotherhood think?

I rolled a car on the freeway doing 70mph one time, in the fast lane, someone pulled onto my lane. I flipped 8 times and ended up on the roof. I couldnt undo the belt with my weight on the belt. A trucker cut me out. Didnt have one scratch on me.

I carry these in all our cars and trucks.

Mounted where?

I have a different kind, it a small orange hammer type. Comes with a clip you can mount and the hammer clips on it. Mine are in my center console on the underside of the lid.

If it happens to get dislodged, its not going far.

Underside of the lid is a good idea.

If you are going to mount it, it needs to be reachable. I just haven't wanted one exposed to view in any of my cars.

I have one of these in the wifes truck....

It's a Seatbelt Cutter, Window Punch, Light, and Siren....

These are the one I use.

Thats the style i've seen.
Laughed when my mom insisted it was good enough to tuck it in the drivers door pocket of my sister's rig.

Will be really accessible when the vehicle is on its lid after a few rolls.....:haha:

Of you're ever in the situation and have to use the window punch, pick one of the corners and give it a shot.
