My Blazer has the mounting spots on the top for the dust shield in the rear but no dust shield, I went to the local salvage yard and the only thing there with a good one was a Suburban, are those interchangable.

As long as the transmission is the same as yours it should work. The engine family (6 cyl, sbc, bbc) might be a factor, but not 100% sure on that. Could always make a thin cardboard template and take it to the JY for comparision. Will save you a lil time and put your mind at ease when checking.

I dont think i explained it right, im talking about the chrome dust deflector on the back of the fiberglass top that forces air down over the back of the vehicle.

Oop, sorry, lol. So, like a wing? Should be easy to measure- about four mounting holes (two on each brace). Not trying for 100% restoration, just something that works?

I hope so, dont those help keep the exhaust out when you have the rear glass down driving down the road.

I've heard they're extremely INeffective at doing that... I've repeatedly been told that rerouting the exhaust is about the only thing that'll keep the fumes out when the window is down.

Route the exhuast to where, mine has new exhaust all the way back, but it exits in the factory position.

From what I've heard that's part of the problem. IIRC you'll need to put a bit of a downturn at the end of the exhaust to try to keep it from being pulled into the back.
