Dust Shields...

Hey guys, im building my dana 60.. i was planning on not running dust shields but my bro was suggesting that i do because in the rain, brakes obviously not working as well when wet, is this really an issue any of you w/ out dust sheilds have faced? thanks Mike

Throw them out.
My opinion is not only based on So Cal living. I lived in Illinois for 3 years, had my truck for over a year there and threw out the dust shields the first time I did any work on it

Rain has little to no effect on disc brakes.
