What do you think of these awesome new header collector reducers I just got from dynomax.

how did this get past their QC department. These welds are atrocious !!!!

damn, thats pretty bad, ive never seen them that bad, i got some flowtechs from napa, those had a pretty good weld in them, you must have gotten a new guys weld

summit is sending me new ones, should be here on monday. Too bad I wanted to fire my TBI motor with all the new stuff this weekend.

That doesn't surprise me. I've bought there stuff in the past and my overall impression is "junk".

Well I got the new ones and they look just as bad. Someone doesn't know how to use a welder. There is penetration but no technique what so ever. looks like the pressed the button and rotated.

I agree, I don't consider myself a welder, but I do weld better than that.

I called dynomax faxed my invoice from summit. They are going to send me ones straight from the factory. We shall see what happens. I want to put my engine in the truck, I'm thinking about just rewelding them myself.
