What's the preferred method of re mounting, I forgot about these cables in all the excitement of new lift, It's only 4" but they are still too short, is this just a cut and weld deal or is there a cool shortcut. Any pics?

Over the counter lift kits come with a bolt on bracket , two holes and flat rectangle shape . Easy to make your own to drop the stock location down .

I have a 6" lift on my 12bolt. All I did was bend a spring hanger(picture and upside down "L") so that it bolted to the frame and then I just ran the cable through the existing hole(basically made a drop bracket). Even the clips hold the cable in right. I'll get some pictures of it in the morning if that will help.

Yea thought about grinding off the rivets and fabing something up but I just painted the frame and was trying to avoid that but pretty much over that , can always touch up.

For a 4" lift you can just take the LT rear line out of the bracket and have plenty of cable droop on a blazer. Else fab like others suggested. You still might need longer cables if you have a lot of flex.

I would test that before I put it together. That bar looks like it will bend really easy with the kind of force the parking brake has.

I left my cables on the stock bracket with a 6" lift. How come you need to drop them?

They just seemed kinda short/tight and figured with the droop of the springs it would possibly stretch or break. I thought those brackets were just holding the outer sleeve away from the frame but did not take into account the force against them. Back to the drawing board.
