E-Brake Light flashing

[Dave'90K5]

My brake light on my '90 K5 was on constently until I replaced the switch at the pedal. Now I have a new problem. The E-brake like in the dash flashes 9 times then stays steady for the 10th for about a second. I figured this was some sort of code.. anyone know what it means?
