e brake

Hey all-
My emergancy brake is stuck and all the lines are rusted. Im not going to fix it right now $$$$ but was wondering if I could disconnect all the lines from the pedal to the drums? Will this jack up the rear brakes or anything eles.

You can disconnect the cables to ervything parking brake related, but will need to free up the cable that is pulling the parking brake lever inside the drum, basically if you can get the cable loose at the drum, it should free it up to turn again.
