Anyone have any feedback on an E-Locker? Ive heard they don't always totally engage/disengage, and that the limited slip is pretty harsh.

Should have clarified, I was indeed thinking the eaton e-locker, which is supposed to be a posi when open, then lock solid when powered. And I was only thinking 35's. A lot of jeeper forums had pretty Sh*t reviews.... and thats why we don't listen to the heep guys.
Some of the early versions were supposed to break easily on the Dana 60 axles but that's all I've heard.

Mine is open when unlocked and locked when engaged.
Open as in only one wheel spins.
How about the auburn gear ECTED?
The ected is a limited slip that turns to full lock when 12v is applied, but it was never offered to the public, and was only an option in OEM applications. That's the one people call an elocker even though eaton copyrighted the name for theirs. The ected is only limited slip.

Well that is why I said they didn't offer them, not don't, I figured by now they started to, but yes the principle is the power puts pressure on the clutches to make them tighter. You can buy them from 4wheelparts. I bought one from Randys for use in my d44 a while back but sold it since I wanted an open diff when off. Also read that they don't fully lock up, they just have a clutch that tightens up the friction pack.
