** e-mail \"NOTIFY\"....is it broken since the upgrade? **

I haven't been receiving e-mail notifications when people reply to my posts lately. I checked the preferences page, and the options look different from before.

I didn't see any option there to be notified when someone replies to a thread....only when they reply to a "Favorite" or when a "PM Arrives" and "CK5 site messages"....etc.

Am I missing something, or is the setting found somewhere else now?

You have to have it checked as a favorite post, then you have to go into your preferences in your My Home menu and there is an option to email all replies to your favorite posts.

Thanks Steve,

I don't see a way to only receive e-mails when someone responds to "my" posts only....it seems like you have to call it a "favorite" which means EVERY response to the thread will generate an e-mail notification???

Yep, thats the way it is right now Greg. Kinda sucks, your gonna end up with a mailbox full of mail you dont necesarily want. Im sure it will get changed, cause im sure you and i arent the only ones that want it this way.

I agree. I use the favorites to track threads I find interesting or useful. Not to keep up with random threads I may have answered where there may be questions about my answer (if that makes sense). As a result, I may never know that someone has asked me for more info (or answered my question) unless I stumble across it...
