E-mailed BFG (good customer service!!)

Emailed BFG yesterday (asking when they were going to make 33x10.5R16 in MT) and I amazingly got a CALL back from them today. The lady said she didn't know what sizes, but that in August, BFG is going to be introducing more MT tires in other sizes...those of you that are thinking about getting another set of tires and BFG doesn't have what you need, you might want to hold off. Even gave me a 1-800 number for customer service.

I can't, so ordered the 33x9.5R15's for my truck today, be in Thursday. Made sure to let them know these may just be for a test fit and not purchase. Discount Tire said no problem, I don't have to put any money down. Woulda had them get the 33x10.5's, but the guy said they would have a harder time getting them in the store, and harder to get rid of if I didn't buy them, so I told him I'd try the 9.5's first. : )

Thanks!!! I was just about to order some AT's for my new '91 through Sams (31X10.5-15's) for only $116 each-mounted with a pretty solid road hazard and free rotation (that of course, I usually do myself but it's nice to know if I feel lazy). And, yes, I remember the old thread about some goof from one of those places test driving a car after putting tires on it; I'll be all over them if they screw up and plus, I'll torque down the lug nuts to specs myself when I get home. I also heard the AT's were recently ranked #1 by Consumer Reports!

You guys need some Discount tire locations out there! (I checked, closest is about NC) A little cheaper than what they quoted me on tires, but no hassle, no cost 100% replacement. However, I hope that the tires BFG comes out with are 10.5's in MT...I'll have to keep everyone clued in as to how I like the 9.5's if thats what I end up with...if not, I'll be telling everyone how I like the 10.5 AT's...

I need to mention when anybody wants to buy BFG tires and are going to use them for off road use, buy blem tires. These are cosmetic imperfections which may have letter bloopers like bubbles or other very minor stuff. It does not affect warranty. I have gotten these tires for a fraction of a new tires cost. This really helps keep costs down especially if you dont care what the tire looks like except for how it performs. Just call the 800 no. and tell them your size you wish to get and they can tell you if they have them and a part no. for you for when you order them from your tire dealer. Just have to tell the dealer to order the part no. and see if they can get them. I got 35" AT's for 115.00 compared to the 175.00 new cost.

Great advice! I've got a set of blems on my truck as well. BFG Mud-Terrains, 35x12.50x16.5. Paid $117 each instead of the $148 they were selling for at the time. I didn't care about the blemishes. The first rock they met made the lettering look worse than that!

There you go everybody, confessions from HarryH3. These are about the best deal you are going to find on ANY tires!! Now get on the phone with BFG and get a part no. Then get down to your local tire dealer and order some! Do it!
