So I was about to replace the driver's side tail light connector which I have thought was missing one of it's four teeth as seen in the above picture.
However I've discovered that the two replacement parts pauly383 gave me all have the same three fingers with the same one missing...coincidence? A few guys on SteelSoldiers say their CUCV's have the same configuration of three fingers as mine.

Can any of you guys with early 80's trucks or CUCV's tell me how many "fingers" your tail light connector plugs have on the passenger and driver's side?

My 83 has those unplugged right now . Drivers side 4 , passenger side 3 . I think the 4th is the little pigtail running to the license plate light .

I just grabbed connectors off the Suburban and extra tailpan off the truggy . I didn't bother to think :doah: At least they were free man :thumb:

Weird, yours is the reverse of mine.

Oh yeah, FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS!

Wonder if it has anything to do with the CUCV's not having a license plate light?

I just ran outside and took em . Sorry . But yeah mine is 4 on drivers and 3 on passenger , this is a stock 83 rear harness .
