my parents took the camera with them for the weekend, but i should be able to take pics monday when they get back. the dash should work for an '85 k5, i think all dashes after '81 interchange, just that the '90 and '91 have electric speedo and all others are mechanical. i could be wrong tho.

is ur k5 a diesel? this dash has the "glow plug" light and also "water in fuel" light

i mean you could still use the dash and not hook those lights up. it would throw people off. ill get some pics for you, it is a nice dash, just needs a wipe down with a moist towel

'85 was the first year for that particular style dash (wiper switch on the column and relocated head light switch). It should work for '85-87 and up to '91 in the K5/Burb.

Actually I believe it was 1984 with the wiper switch on the column.
I have a 1984 k5 and that is where my wiper switch is.

That could be it... maybe '85 was the first year for hydro clutch GM changed too many things at different points. It all starts to blur together sometimes.
