We're putting our EJS trips together and need to get a count of people to send the news letter to. If you're going to be in Moab and want to run with us send me your address and I'll get it on the way. Tenative schedule right now is Golden Spike monday (probably backwards), Pritchett tuesday, Lower Helldorado Wed. If you have a milder truck, we may set up different milder rides depending on numbers there. Our core group is getting pretty well built and pretty well dented so we're doing hard stuff for fun now!
The news letter will have a sign up sheet, trailhead meeting places, vehicles to look for, CB channels and all the other pertinent details to make the trips run smooth and fun.

We're a little strapped for time now so let us know as soon as possible. Also, please don't request a letter if you're not going to be there. We're getting a pretty big group and it can be a lot of work to set this stuff up.
Thanks

I heard there's you can't fit a full size on that trail, Steve.

I'm a little interested in seeing how that trail is. I'm not too sure how my trucks going to act, it's a bit tall and has some body roll but we might have to take a look. You coming along with us Pete? I know it's not your scene but it could be fun.

Thursday and Friday I will be doing the grind. I only have from Sunday till Wednesday, so patience is not one of my virtues. I think we should all ride in the UAV on upper. I will park mine out front and make sandwich's on the tail gate. That is as close as it is getting to Upper this year

I thought I was wrong once,
but I was mistaken

Hmm, I dunno. I've heard that some people have experience minor "body damage" on that particular trail. Not sure if its worth the risk to me. I may just stick to Chicken corners; if I get real brave, maybe Kane Creek. Maybe.

We'll be out there Sunday through Saturday, we don't really have anything planned. Haven't talked with the guys from that other off-road shop, we usually hook up with them for a few trails. It kind of depends on who in our group ends up going this year, so far for sure we have me, my buddy w/the stretched 4.3L Sami, my brother's '70 K5 (assuming the TBI setup works), possibly a Ramcharcher and another Sami. The '70 is on 35s, and both it and the Dodge are open in the front.

Yeah, I would hate to see any scratches in your rust, it's the only thing holding it together.

I wouldn't go pointing fingers if I were you--at least my tailgate hasn't fallen off.

When in doubt gas it

Hey, at least I was able to help pull some broken trucks out last time! Still good for something (Dave snikers that wimpy 10 bolts held up).

I'll Be in Moab Thurs, Fri, Big Sat, Easter Sun. I would love to run anything with you. The only one that Scares me is Upper Helldorado. I won't do that because my body is somewhat straight. Please send me the newsletter or any info.

We only have mon, tues, and wed set up at this point. The end of the week is up in the air since we may have attrition, etc. We'll be working it out on wed. most likely. I'll try to get an update on here of our plans.

Yea some of us dont own our own shop and we have to come back to work because our bosses dont understand the 4 wheelin thing and how important it is.

Yeah, what Tim said. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
