Folks, got a friend with a stock Chevy truck. Its got the "hubcaps" with the fake lug nuts in them.
He keeps losing them. He tightens them up, and after a few days, one or more of the lugs will be loose again. He got behind on checking them, and lost two last week.
New ones seem to stay on better than the older ones, but he still loses them. Hes 3 hours away from me, several years older, and is staying pretty close to home.
If he was here, I'd figure something out. For now, I suggested Loctite no. 222, the purple version. Its easy enough to unscrew that it should not damage the plastic "lugnuts" to take them off, but should not vibrate off like they are doing now.
I know most of you are running aftermarket wheels, but how do those of you running stock keep them on?
