Yeah, it'll always be a 32 spline case when it's off a TH400. The only differences you'll find will be the adapter change in 85 -

<-84 = tall, figure 8 pattern with a short input shaft
85-> = short, round pattern with a long input shaft

...and the 2 different t-case tailshafts (fixed yoke vs. slip yoke).

Beware, there are different TH400 tailshafts for the 2 different adapter styles. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
