Anything to know picked one up today for free and was wondering if they are supported by the aftermarket? weaker or stronger than a 14ff? different lug pattern?

Search for Eaton ho72, its been covered lots of times.
that is the axle the 14bolt full floater derived from. There is a ho52 (3/4 ton) and a ho72 (1 ton) model. Not a lot of aftermarket support, but i belive a detroit from a 14bff will work, im sure someone will chime in. google eaton ho72.
