Im looking for a set of 5.14s for my H072 Eaton rear.
Third member or just ring and pinion (to save on shipping) would be fine.
Im in NJ. So if youre close and have a complete rear...Im interested.

I've had a few but sold all of them cept my brothers No-Spin 5.13 :D I need a 4.56 now to match my CUCV D60 but don't know where any are :(. I used to know where dozens of Eatons were and have half a dozen 3rds myself.

I have a 4.56 ring and pinion for HO52 rear..I am pulling off the No-Spin for my 70 K5 and i will sell the gears for $125 shipped (includes shipping)
For the 4.56 ring and pinion gears. The gears are good,I am running 4.10 for the highway.

I found a carrier with 5.14 on it in CO 800 789 6521

another one in NE 800 422 4683 for $175 says 5.14 gears

another one in CA 5.13 800 323 1401 for $150

there was a 4th one but is in Alsaka

Hehehe i know where rare parts are..Glad to help

That is a very hard item to find...did you know that in 67 thru 72 you could order a 5.13 5.88 6.20 ratio in a 3/4 ton...it is in my "RED BOOK" WITH EVERY OPTION THAT WAS AVAILABLE That little book has a ton of info in it. My unlce has a 1970 K/30 single wheel with 5.13 gears and they only show they made 5 of those trucks that year...My cousin wrecked it in 1985....dummy...Thats was a super rare truck.

Rare to say the least.
I have been using these rears for the last 20 years. Out of 25 rears that Ive had, only 5 had Detroits. One had 5.14s and all the others had 4.10s or 4.57s.

As far as the 5.88 and 6.20.
I have dealt with many Eaton experts (and consider myself to be one) and its my opinion they dont exist.
May have been an option like in the redbook, just never ordered.

IF they existed at one time, it was most likely in an offroad only application. Either farm, industrial or military applications. Nothing that would come up in our normal activities.

I have a trailer made from the rear half of a 3/4 ton 1962 GMC,that has an Eaton axle,a full floater with 4.56 ratio and COIL springs!..how many of those do you still see around??..:D..if I knew what gears my K2500 had,I'd save it for it if it had 4:56 gears,,but I think it has 4:10's or 3:73's..its sat in the backyard for decades..but looks in better shape than my 82's frame & axles do as far as rust!..
