A search here will help you a lot but:

Most parts on them are expensive and hard to find.

They have coarse spline axles (19 spline?), many had OEM detroits.

FF 14 bolt spiders gears or a 14 bolt detroit are a direct swap along with 14 bolt shafts.

Is it worth $75? Maybe, depends on how much you need to put into it to get it going.

I would take it if you can do a disk brake conversion easy, I like the idea of a removable third member which they have. Get the Detroit and 14bolt shafts, the shafts should be cheap since they made so many 14 bolts.

In a 4x4 it's actually a fourth member. Ha Ha. It's a removeable carrier. The carrier holds the differential assembly. In the old Eatons, the carrier (and dif assembly) can be removed from the axle housing. Makes it easy to work on and set up gears, etc. The ff14bolt and sf14bolt have integral carriers. The carrier is an integral part of the housing. Ford 9" rearends and Toyota solid axles have removeable carriers like the old Eaton. Removeable is better. Integral is cheaper to manufacture so most modern stuff is integral.

SCORE!!! i got the eaton rear for $0.00! its 4.56 so its already matched. i also found some disc brake kits for it for $290!!! fixin to be tonned up reasonably cheap!!!!!!!!
